Once again the Farmers Market was well attended

Keep Ripley In George Abbot School!

The next Ripley Annual Parish Meeting will be raising concerns of Ripley residents no longer being allocated places at George Abbot Secondary School which the children of Send and Ripley have attended for the last 36 years.

There will be a panel of speakers and a question and answer session regarding secondary school admissions.

Come along and have your say even if this may not affect you now as it could affect you in the future!

April snowfall in Ripley!

Sunday the 6th of April saw an unexpected (for some) early morning snowfall giving Ripley a winter wonderland feel for a few hours as giant snowflakes turned the village green into a sea of white.

Dogs were bemused and children scampered around building snowmen. Alas by early afternoon almost no trace was left of the snow and anyone sleeping off a late saturday night might wonder what all the fuss was about!
